On the 23rd and 24th of October the Founding Meeting of the Academic partnership EMAKA-CREMO, aiming at enhancing education and research on issues of the Southern Mediterranean, will be held in Rhodes.
The meeting is organised by the University of the Aegean (Rectorate and Department of Mediterranean Studies) in partnership with the Institute of International Relations (I.I.R.) of the Panteion University of Athens, under the auspices of the Euro-Mediterranean University, founded during the Slovenian Presidency. Among the objectives is the establishment of Joint Masters Programs according to the provisions of the new framework-law.
The meeting will be addressed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Y. Valinakis and the Ambassador of France in Greece Mr. Chr. Farnaud, while representatives of 20 Universities as well as independent experts have been invited to attend. |
