In its effort to act as a forum of constructive debate in the field of international relations, foreign policy, defence and security, IIR aims at organising a series of seminars, workshops, conferences, book presentations, round table debates and speeches. 2003:
March
15th International Model Competition of Humanitarian Law Jean Pictet with the participation of 32 Universities and 2 Military Academies worldwide, which represented 22 countries from the 5 continents (Nauplio).
1997:
May
On the EU Council of Ministers with the participation of thirty six students from seven Greek universities. The subject of negotiation was "The Challenge of the New Enlargement of the EU: Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean".
