In this study on the Jewish, Greek, Armenian and Turkish lobbies in the United States, the authors analyze each lobby using a comparative framework which focuses on the lobbies base of support, organizational structure, mission and tactics, behavioral modalities and achievements. Moreover, this study constitutes an essential baseline for policy-makers seeking to formulate ideas, politics or plans for the development of new lobbying institutions or the enhancement of existing ones. Finally, the analysis contributes to the ongoing debate on lobbying in the US and the framing of new legislation to reform the lobbying process.
